Bahrain will put up a strong show at the “Gitex 2015,” a leading annual information technology exhibition in Dubai.

The Bahrain pavilion includes 24 technology companies along with the Economic Development Board (EDB), eGovernment Authority and Tamkeen.

Bahraini firms will be taking part in the event along with exhibitors from 62 countries around the globe who will  be exhibiting a total of 3,500 brands during the five-day event.

The participating Bahraini companies will offer their technical services and products to more than 130,000 expected visitors for the exhibition, including 20,000 executives and decision-makers.

Organizers of the pavilion for the ninth consecutive year are Work Smart, the renowned event-management company and the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTech).

The pavilion provides the opportunity to meet with Bahraini companies and to engage in fruitful partnerships, while the participation of the EDB forms an added value added in order to explore technical needs of the public sector in Bahrain and ways to fulfilling them, said a statement from BTech.

Gitex offers an annual opportunity for the Bahrain’s IT companies to showcase their products in regional and global markets, and the chance to develop these products in line with developments in telecommunications and information industry in the region and the world, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
