President Trump Headlining Drug Abuse Summit In Atlanta

ATLANTA -- President Donald Trump and the First Lady will speak this week in Atlanta at the 2019 Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit. The eighth annual summit will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown.

Founded in 2012, the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit represents the largest national gathering of professionals from “federal to family” – local, state and, federal agencies, public health officials, business executives, academia, treatment providers, advocates, law enforcement, and family members working to find solutions that address the prescription drug abuse and misuse epidemic.

Featuring more than 3,000 participants, the meeting is produced by HMP Global, a leader in healthcare events and education, along with educational advisor Operation UNITE.

Trump last appeared in Georgia in 2018 during Brian Kemp's gubernatorial campaign.
