Tyler Dooley, Meghan Markle’s estranged nephew, made some unpleasant headlines over the weekend when he was caught carrying a knife into a nightclub in London where he had gone to celebrate the royal wedding.

But now the legal cannabis farmer from Grants Pass, Oregon, is back in the United States after avoiding arrest for the knife incident, the Sun reported. And the 25-year-old Dooley is no doubt hoping he’ll make more positive headlines for Markle Sparkle, a new strain of cannabis he developed in honor of his royal aunt.

He plans to debut the strain, both in flower and concentrate form, June 2 at the High Times Cannabis Cup Northern California in Santa Rosa. “Noble families often inspire their country persons to craft and dedicate products to them,” reads the online description of Markle Sparkle on Leafbuyer.com, an online dispensary database.

Dooley plans to showcase samples of Markle Sparkle at the Santa Rosa event and hopes to ultimately sell it at dispensaries for approximately $280 per ounce, according to Leafbuyer.com

Dooley told Leafbuyer.com that Markle Sparkle, developed through his company Royally Grown, is “a potent sativa-dominant hybrid that helps relieve pain, anxiety, and insomnia.”

Dooley says it’s a high-yielding plant that grows best outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. “I can’t reveal too much at this point,” Dooley told Leafbuyer.com. “But what I can say is it smells like blueberries and it’s made up of three different strains: Blue City Diesel, Blueberry Northern Lights and a third secret strain, which you’ll find out on June 2nd!”

Dooley didn’t mention to Leafbuyer.com whether he’ll make free samples of Markle Sparkle-related products available to his aunt or to her new husband.

It would seem to be the decent thing to do, considering Dooley is the latest of Meghan Markle’s American relatives to try and exploit connections to the new member of the British royal family.

Actually, Dooley’s connections were tenuous at best even before his relatives began creating drama soon after Harry and Meghan, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, announced their engagement.

Dooley says he last spoke to his aunt three years ago, and he didn’t get invited to mingle with Queen Elizabeth II, George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams or other A-listers at the wedding at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

But that didn’t stop him, his mother Tracey Dooley and his brother T.J. from traveling to the United Kingdom to be in London for the big global event. Tracey Dooley, who helped Tyler develop the Markle Sparkle strain, was previously married to Thomas Markle Jr., Meghan’s older half-brother. Markle Jr. has spent the past few months going back and forth over badmouthing his little sister.

Tyler and Tracey Dooley, who last saw the 36-year-old Meghan 20 years ago, were reported to have been invited to be special correspondents for “Good Morning Britain’s” coverage of the wedding, the Sun reported. But the show later confirmed they would not be part of its coverage.

On Saturday night, Tyler Dooley ran into trouble when he, his girlfriend, his mother and brother went out to celebrate after the wedding. After visiting several bars, they wound up at a club, where Tyler admitted to a bouncer. “I have a knife on me,” a witness told the Sun. He pulled it out and handed it to the staff, the source added.

“They were all obviously a bit tipsy from celebrating the wedding, but not in bad spirits,” the witness said. Tyler Dooley then explained to bouncers that he brought the knife from America “because Donald Trump had said London wasn’t safe.”

But when the bouncers called 999, the emergency number for police, Tyler Dooley ran off. London’s Metropolitan Police Service confirmed to the Sun that they were called to the club at around 1:55 a.m. Sunday and recovered a knife from bouncers, but no arrest was made as the suspect had left the scene.

Tracey and Tyler Dooley arrived back in the United States Monday, landing at Los Angeles International Airport, where they wouldn’t say much to reporters about the knife incident, the Sun reported. As she and Tyler walked through the airport with their luggage, Tracey Dooley would only say that the incident had been “a misunderstanding” and then proclaimed that the wedding had been “beautiful.”

Now the Dooley mother and son presumably need to focus on launching their Markle Sparkle products through their company Royally Grown, which also plans to sell Markle Sparkle-infused brownies, oils, tinctures, as well as makeup, jewelry, bath products and an organic hemp clothing line, the Daily Mail reported.

Tyler Dooley’s grandfather is Thomas Markle Sr., Meghan’s father who was invited to the wedding. The 73-yaer-old retired Hollywood lighting designer had been expected to walk Meghan down the aisle but became embroiled in a scandal over collaborating with a paparazzo to stage tabloid photos of him getting reading for the wedding.  A health emergency soon followed, which involved Markle Sr. undergoing heart surgery three days before the wedding.

TMZ reported Monday that Thomas Markle Sr. had been released from the hospital — and was back in his hometown of Rosarito, Mexico, stopping off at a Starbucks to pick up a Frappuccino.

Meanwhile, Tyler Dooley’s aunt, Samantha Markle, was reportedly paid $25,000 to watch the royal wedding Saturday at her Florida home in the presence of a TV crew, the Daily Mail reported.

Her boyfriend Mark Phillips, 60, told a DailyMail reporter trying to visit her home Saturday: “You can’t go in there. She is making big money with an exclusive TV interview.”

Samantha Markle has been the most outspoken among Meghan’s American relatives in criticizing the former TV actress, calling her a social climber who turned her back on her family and saying she always schemed to become the next Princess Diana. She also says she’s working on a tell-all memoir about Meghan, titled “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.”

For her statements, Piers Morgan accused Samantha Markle her of being “a vulture” during a live British TV interview.

In response to such accusations, Samantha Markle on Monday lashed out at Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, the Daily Mail reported. The 61-yearo-old social worker and yoga instructor attended the wedding and won admiration for her gracious presence at the globally televised ceremony.

On Twitter, Samantha Markle said Ragland was the one who was cashing in, alleging that she’s being paid to do an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
