WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A local police department will implement body cameras in the Miami Valley.
West Carrollton City Council passed the body camera resolution during its meeting Tuesday night.
The West Carrollton Police Chief told city council that the use of body cameras will add transparency to the department and give them another tool to support police officers.
The cameras will take about two to three months to implement.
