St. Lucie County pools ready for summer swimming

St. Lucie County’s Parks and Recreation Department is helping residents and visitors beat the heat with the opening of three community pools. The Ravenswood Pool in Port St. Lucie will open for the weekends beginning May 5.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY — St. Lucie County’s Parks and Recreation Department is helping residents and visitors beat the heat with the opening of three community pools.

• The Ravenswood Pool, 400 SW Ravenswood Lane, Port St. Lucie, will open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 5 – 20. Starting Saturday, May 26 through Labor Day, the pool will open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp Swim will take place Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• The Lakewood Park Pool, 5990 Emerson Ave., Fort Pierce, will open for the summer season, Saturday, May 26: Monday through Friday from 1 – 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday Family Swim will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., while Camp Swim will run Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• The Lincoln Park Pool, 1311 Avenue M, Fort Pierce, will operate Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Saturday, May 26. Camp Swim will take place Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The pool will be closed on Sundays.

Admission into St. Lucie County pools ranges from $1.25 to $3.25; children under 2 are free.

All three pools are managed and operated by the St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation Department.
