Minnesota’s COVID-19 death toll is up to 7,545 with nine deaths reported Sunday, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
Another 127 infections were reported, taking the total to 604,509.
The actual number of infections likely is much higher since the data only represent those who have been tested, state officials said.
The total number tested as of Sunday was 4,383,532.
Sunday’s fatalities ranged in age from a person who is between 40 and 44, and another person who is between 90 and 94.
Four of the nine were from a long-term care or assisted-living facility. Of the state’s 7,545 deaths, 4,465 were from such facilities.
HOW ARE PATIENTS DOING?
Of those infected with the virus as of Sunday, 595,937 had recovered to the point where they no longer need to be isolated.
A total of 32,525 have been hospitalized in Minnesota, with 6,601 of those admitted into an intensive care unit.

The age group with the most infections remains 20-24-year-olds with 58,371 cases.
The age group with the most deaths are 85-89-year-olds with 1,357 deaths, closely followed by 80-84-year-olds with 1,209 deaths, and 90-94-year-olds with 1,200 deaths.
