Buhler 4-H Club sang carols, helped at Santa event in December

Submitted

The Buhler 4-H Club, including 10 members and 10 adults, went to Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler to carol for the residents on December 13, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. The 4-H club had to carol outside because of covid precautions.

Since the Buhler 4-H Club didn't get to see and carol to all the Sunshine Meadows residents, they wrote and delivered Christmas cards to wish all the residents a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Buhler 4-H Club also donated cookies and milk and served during Santa's visit at the Buhler Public Library. The library said they are so grateful that the Buhler 4-H Club did this, stating, "We saw way more smiling faces than last year." The next club meeting was held on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., at the Buhler Mennonite Church. The February meeting will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Buhler Mennonite Church.
