A husband and wife were arrested on January 30 after reports of criminal sexual conduct involving juveniles and cruelty to juveniles.

RPSO responded on October 1, 2019, to a report of the allegations in the Poland area.

Witnesses identified Jody Glynn Mullins, 44, of Poland as a suspect. Through their investigation, including interviews of the victims at the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center and with the assistance of the Louisiana Department of Child & Family Services, sufficient probable cause was established that supported the original allegations.

Detectives also discovered evidence alleging Jody’s wife, Evelyn Anne Brown Mullins, 61, committed cruelty-based crimes upon the victims.

On January 29, warrants were granted for Jody Glynn Mullins’ arrest in reference to one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Warrants were also granted for Evelyn Anne Mullins’ arrest in reference to three counts of cruelty to juveniles.

The following day, Jody and Evelyn were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Jody was released on January 31 after posting a $50,000 bond, relating to the sexually based crimes. Evelyn was released the same day after posting a $15,000 bond.
