After the deadliest fire in California’s history, beer makers across the country, including some in northeastern Pennsylvania, are brewing up something special.

The Camp Fire ripped through northern California last month, destroying nearly 14,000 homes, and killing at least 85 people.

Barley Creek Brewing Company in Tannersville, Pennsylvania joined more than 1,400 other breweries across the country to create Resilience IPA.

100% of the proceeds from the beer will be donated to the Camp Fire Relief Fund”, serving up hope one pint at a time.

“Even though we’re just a small brewery in the Poconos, we’re going to make a big step to reach out to California and say Barley Creek is here for you,” said Bartender Nick Wisen.

Resilience IPA will be on tap beginning this Friday at Barley Creek Brewing Company.

Sierra Nevada expects more than 17,000 barrels to be brewed nationwide.
