N.E.A.D.S. NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans is a nonprofit organization that trains highly skilled assistance dogs for people who are Deaf or have a disability. NEADS has matched more than 1,400 dogs with human partners all around the United States since 1976. Our Canines for Combat Veterans program caters to US veterans, particularly wounded service men and women who have returned from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
