N.E.A.D.S. NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans is a nonprofit organization that trains highly skilled assistance dogs for people who are Deaf or have a disability. NEADS has matched more than 1,400 dogs with human partners all around the United States since 1976. Our Canines for Combat Veterans program caters to US veterans, particularly wounded service men and women who have returned from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We also train social dogs for children with Autism, hearing dogs for people who are Deaf, and service dogs for people with a disability.

North End Skating Club This is a group that was created to help people learn and enjoy ice skating at the beautiful Steritti Ice Rink in the North End of Boston. They post weekly events and hope to get a good crew together for skating and other activities in the area.

North Shore Women’s Rugby The North Shore Women’s Rugby Club (NSWRC), located north of Boston, was created in the Fall of 2004 and is in Division III of the New England Rugby Football Union.

Upward Bound @ Boston University Upward Bound (UB) at Boston University is a federally-funded college preparatory program for potential first-generation college and low-income Boston Public High School students.

Washington Street is home to over 20 artists who work in a broad range of media, including sculpture, photography, paper cutting, woodworking, painting, bookbinding, and silk dyeing. Our collaborative houses a variety of creatives from many different backgrounds.
