Gary Eugene Tallman

Knoxville - Gary Eugene Tallman, Age 51, of Knoxville, TN, went Home to meet the Lord Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1969, in Fort Campbell, Ky. Gary is a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tazewell, TN. He accepted Christ in his life on September 15, 1996 and was baptized September 29, 1996. Gary was employed at ABC Supply Co. Inc. Knoxville and was fully dedicated to his work family and loyal clients. Gary's greatest achievement is being Ella's Dad. He is so proud of her kind gentle soul. He is always in amazement of how she could be his child. Gary loves hunting, cars, motorcycles, and a project. Gary's love for Charles, Frank, and Pam is unmeasurable. Gary also has the same love for Jane, Cari, Witley, Cameron, and Hannah. Most of you know this, he also loves a good listener. Gary is Survived by his wife, Jill Tallman. Gary, my husband, is the kindest, most loving, soul that God has ever shown me. Thank you God for him! He is survived by his father, Charles W. Tallman of Knoxville and preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Virginia Tallman. He is also survived by daughter, Ella Adair Tallman, Knoxville; brothers, Frank Tallman and wife Pam of Kodak. Mike Shorter, Steve Tallman, and preceded in death David Tallman. Sisters, Connie Shorter Seals, Debbie Shorter, and preceded in death, Sandra May. Nieces, Witley Skinner (Austin), Nephews, Cameron Skinner (Hannah) and many more from the extended family. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Rose Funeral and Cremation – Mann, with a funeral service to follow in the chapel. Interment will be Monday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at rosefuneraltn.com.
