Bahrain’s long-standing tolerance hailed in meet

ManamaBahrain is a model of amity and co-existence between faiths and doctrines, said His Majesty’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa. 

He also stressed the Kingdom’s millennia-old legacy as a crossroad for religions and civilizations and a beacon of tolerance for ages. 

HH Shaikh Abdulla made the remarks during his meeting with a delegation representing Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) here yesterday. A delegation from the International Hospital of Bahrain also attended the meeting, which was held at the court of HRH Crown Prince. 

Speaking on the occasion, HH Shaikh Abdulla paid tribute to the people of Bahrain for their hospitality, awareness and civility, open-mindedness to embrace all religions, doctrines and beliefs. He also hailed the Indian community’s years-long contribution to the Kingdom’s development. 

The Personal Representative conveyed greetings from HM the King to BAPS members, hailing their dedicated humanitarian and social efforts to disseminate the values of goodness, love and tolerance. 

Meanwhile, the BAPS delegation lauded the atmosphere of co-existence between faiths, religious doctrines and beliefs, highlighting Bahrain’s millennia-old civilization and development strides.
