CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley announced 31 arrests in a child porn sting Wednesday morning.

Operation Déjà vu involved members of the Internet Crimes against Children, Newburgh Heights police and the Cuyahoga County sheriff and lasted over four days.

All of those involved, who ranged in age from 20 to 80, were attempting to meet children for sex, according to Prosecutor O’Malley. The suspects used popular social media to send inappropriate photos to who they believed were minor children and they made arrangements to travel to Cuyahoga County to meet said children.

All of the suspects were reportedly caught on camera entering a specified home before they were arrested.

“The success of our operations has indicated that these predators will stop at nothing to exploit our community’s most vulnerable – our children,” O’Malley said in a statement. “We will continue to pursue them and bring them to justice.”
