More than 56,000 votes were cast for the football players of the week in Huntsville, Birmingham and Coastal regions of the state.
Case Watson of Madison County was selected the Hollis Wright Huntsville region player while Joseph Anderson of Montevallo was the Hollis Wright Birmingham region player and Devontae Causey of Millry was voted the Coastal region choice.

Watson returned two kickoffs 80 yards for touchdowns and caught three passes for 87 yards and two scores in a 70-31 win over New Hope.
He received 4,948 of 12,690 votes.

Anderson had 33 carries for 236 yards and two touchdowns, and caught four passes for 44 yards against American Christian.
He had 3,712 of 8,360 votes cast.

Causey ran for 270 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries as the Wildcats knocked off Class 1A No. 6 Fruitdale on Thursday night. He also had two catches for 27 yards.
He had 11,520 of 35,196 votes.
