The Location of HGTV's 2021 Smart Home Has Been Announced
If you've been thinking about escaping to warmer places, now may be your chance. Thanks to HGTV's 2021 Smart Home giveaway, you could win a fully-furnished home in Naples, Florida, that's filled with high-tech design and a ton of personality. For the ninth year, HGTV will give one lucky winner the chance to call the 2,600-square-foot ranch-style home their own. And if that's not enough, the network is also throwing in a 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet and $100,000 from LendingTree for a total prize package worth $1.1 million. For those interested, the giveaway officially launches at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, April 21st and ends at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, June 11th. Participants can enter up to two times a day on HGTV.com.
The one-story home was designed by Tiffany Brooks for the seventh year in a row and was constructed by local builder Mayor Construction. Located on a private cul-de-sac adjacent to a golf course, the one-story three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is full of smart solutions. From countertops that double as charging stations to a hydroponic pantry and automatic curtains, the home provides the winners with "a true smart oasis," as Brooks says. The homes two-story garage doesn't skimp on forward-thinking technology, either. Equipped with park assist, a motorized storage lift, and an automatic garage door opener that pairs with your phone, the space has everything you need to make your life easier.
“This year’s HGTV Smart Home is truly a reflection on the past year, designed to help consumers live a healthy lifestyle, starting with a ‘live smart’ home that fuels their mind, body and soul,” said Brooks. Features like built-in sanitation devices speak to the team's attention to consumers changed needs over the year.

Paying homage to the Florida landscape, guests are greeted by a palm-tree lined patio.
The home opens to a coastal entryway that leads to the grand living room, adorned in earthy tones and bold patterns.
Adjacent to the living room, a nature-inspired study is the ideal work-from-space.
Taking a cue from the beaches of Marco Island, located only 25 minutes away from the home, the full-service smart kitchen is decked out in blue hues. Complete with a breakfast area and a hydroponic garden in the pantry, the space is as functional as it is beautiful.
The home's master bedroom combines comfort with elevated style to create a space that evokes the same luxury feel that a hotel might—down to a dreamy en-suite bathroom. The space connects to a bright lanai and lap pool, perfect for enjoying the outdoors year-round.
