Cirque Italia to bring 1950s-themed show to Corpus Christi in February
Cirque Italia is returning to the Coastal Bend with its jaw-dropping "Water Circus-Gold" show this February.
The aquatic circus will host seven shows in its blue-and-white tent at La Palmera mall's parking lot from Thursday, Feb. 3 to Sunday, Feb. 6.
The circus show takes place above a 35,000-gallon water stage and features performers from Argentina, Brazil, Romania and various other countries.
This year's show will take audiences back in time to the 1950s and the era of greased hair and Elvis Presley.
The 1950s-style show will feature master jugglers, low wire acts, dazzling contortions, trampoline antics and a wheel of death.
Last Valentine's Day, the European-style circus show stunned audiences while taking them on a pirate adventure experience.
The show will have restricted seating and a mask mandate in place to ensure the safety of the audience and the performers, a news release stated.
