ROLETTE COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A 44-year-old Belcourt man was killed and four others were seriously injured in a crash on Highway 281 east of Rolla, North Dakota Monday.
The State Patrol says said a driver, eastbound on the highway, attempted to overtake a vehicle attempting a left turn and collided head-on with another vehicle traveling west.
The eastbound driver was killed. Three passengers, including two juveniles in his van, and the westbound driver, all suffered serious injuries.
All the occupants had to be extricated due to the severe damage to the vehicles.
