Corpus Christi police investigating double homicide at Kostoryz apartment complex

Corpus Christi police are investigating the deaths of two women found at a Bay Area apartment complex Saturday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., police responded to the apartment complex in the 4300 block of Kostoryz Road for a welfare concern. Officers attempted to make contact and apartment maintenance helped open the door, Senior Officer Travis Pace said.

Officers found the bodies of two women inside the apartment. Their identities have not yet been released.

Pace said their deaths are being investigated as homicides and the investigation is ongoing.
