Hopedale Rehab and Sports Medicine celebrate anniversary

Hopedale, IL –Celebrating 15 years of service, the Hopedale Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Program at Hopedale Medical Complex knows the importance of having a successful game plan in place when working with student-athletes in the local communities.

Beginning in 2005, Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) began to establish relationships with athletic programs in the local school communities. The program has continued to grow over the years because the schools, parents and school boards have come to recognize the value and importance of having ATCs at the schools during interscholastic athletic activity. Current school districts Hopedale Medical Complex contracts with include: Deer Creek-Mackinaw, Tremont, Delavan, Olympia, and Hartsburg-Emden.

Not stopping there, in 2016, the Hopedale Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Program continued to grow by adding an onsite orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Robert Seidl, to the team. While Dr. Seidl has a vested interest in our Sports Medicine Program, he is also available to complete consultations for anyone in the community who may have orthopedic needs. As these needs continue to grow within our community, Hopedale Medical Complex will assess and build services that are centered on the mission of providing outstanding physician directed health, wellness, and residential services in a personal, private family atmosphere.

As the Hopedale Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Program continues into the next 15 years, they will continue to be an example of what rural Sports Medicine should look like.
