MILAN, Ill. (KWQC) -Two people suffered minor injuries after a large fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at Anytime Truck & Trailer Repair.

Blackhawk Fire Protection District Chief Todd Fitzpatrick said fire crews responded around 12:30 p.m. to the business at 232 14th St. NE. One police officer told TV6 that he could feel explosions from over 100 yards away.

The chief said about 10 people were inside the building at the time of the fire. The two injured people are expected to be OK, Fitzpatrick said. No nearby buildings sustained damage, he added.

Firefighters from Coyne Center, Rock Island, Andalusia, and Coal Valley responded.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating, Fitzpatrick said.
