HBO Max's 'The Dog House' Pairs Abandoned Pups With Prospective Owners

The eight-episode series follows the staff of Wood Green, a rural British animal rescue center, as they try to match rescue dogs with prospective owners. Each episode shows the emotional backstory of an abandoned pup, as well as relatable backgrounds of families, couples, and singles who all hope adopting a dog will help change their lives.
It's up to the center's staff to find the best match for the pups and prospective owners. The climax of the show? The first "date," which determines whether or not the adorable dogs and the eager owners share a meaningful bond.
