James City County Police search for suspects after two 7-Eleven robberies

JAMES CITY CO., Va. - Police are investigating after two 7-Elevens were robbed.

On Monday around 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7211 Richmond Road in Norge for a robbery. Police said two unidentified males entered the store and demanded money while one brandished a large fixed blade knife. The two suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise from the store.

York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office also responded and assisted JCCPD with searching the area.

Around 2 a.m., two unidentified males matching the description of the two involved in the previous incident entered the 7-Eleven located at 8185 Croaker Road and demanded money. Police said no weapon was displayed during this incident. The clerk was uncooperative, and the two suspects fled without any money or merchandise.

There were no injuries in either incident, according to police.

The two suspects were seen in a small blue or black sedan.
