The Rocket Mortgage Classic already has a more star-studded lineup than last year's inaugural event.

Tournament organizers announced on Tuesday that three big names have been confirmed for the late-May event at Detroit Golf Club: Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Phil Mickelson.

Fowler's commitment is a no-brainer, especially because he is a spokesman for Rocket Mortgage. He is the No. 25 player in the world and was on the U.S. Presidents Cup team that defeated the International team in December.

Watson is a two-time Masters champion and played in the Rocket Mortgage Classic last year. He missed the cut after finishing 1-under-par through two rounds. He has not won on the PGA Tour since 2018.

But the biggest name is Mickelson. The World Golf Hall of Famer is one of the most recognizable players of his generation and a five-time major champion. He has won nearly $91 million in prize money in his 28-year career.

Tickets for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which begins with preliminary events on May 25 and the actual tournament May 28-31, go on sale at 9 a.m. Wednesday at RocketMortgageClassic.com

The course will be open on May 25, which is Memorial Day, and will include a clinic for children on the driving range. On May 26, the Area 313 pro-am event will return
