1 Dead, 1 Injured In Cicero Avenue Hit-And-Run

Burbank police seek information into a fatal hit-and-run where a 53-year-old woman was struck and killed on Cicero Avenue on June 10.

BURBANK, IL — A car hit two pedestrians Friday evening in Burbank, that left a woman dead and another man injured. The driver left the scene in what is being investigated as a hit-and-run accident, police said.

Around 11 p.m. June 10, the man and woman were crossing Cicero Avenue when they were struck by a silver colored car traveling southbound in the 8100 block of Cicero Avenue. Witnesses told police that the driver and passenger in the silver car got out momentarily. They both got back into the car and continued driving south on Cicero.

The passenger in the silver car is described as a male black, 5-feet-11-inches tall, around 190 pounds, and wearing a red shirt, green Chicago Bull’s basketball shorts, and black and white shoes.

A 57-year-old man was taken in stable condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

The 53-year-old woman died from her injuries. She was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Nanette Therese Hillock of Chicago.
