Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's Children, Harlow and Sparrow

It was a family affair at the premiere of Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, as Nicole Richie's family showed up to cheer her on in her role in the film.

Dad Lionel and his longtime girlfriend Lisa Parigi were in attendance, as well as her mom Brenda Harvey-Richie. But perhaps most surprising were her kids Harlow, 16 and Sparrow, 14 (with husband Joel Madden, who also joined), whom we rarely ever see.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel's Son, Axl

Fergie and her now-ex-husband welcomed son Axl Jack in 2013, but the two co-parent him fairly privately. Fergie shared a rare glimpse into their life together on Mother's Day 2023, writing simply, "I am so grateful to be your mommy Axl Jack💚💚."

Richard Gere's Children

Richard Gere's wife Alejandra Silva shared a glimpse of her Mother's Day celebration with their children — a 2½-year-old, whose name has not been shared publicly, 4-year-old son Alexander, and Albert, 9, Silva's son from a previous relationship. (Gere is also dad to Homer, 23, from a previous marriage.)

Kate Winslet's Daughter, Mia Threapleton

Kate Winslet is a mom to three (Mia, 22, with ex-husband Jim Threapleton, son Joe, 19, with ex-husband Sam Mendes, and son Bear, 9, with husband Edward Abel Smith), but has tended to keep her personal and professional lives separate until very recently. In late 2022, Mia made her foray into acting alongside mom Kate in I Am Ruth, playing a mother and daughter in an unscripted episode of a U.K. series, and the two attended the BAFTA TV awards in May 2023 to celebrate.

"I was given new things to respect and admire about my own child," Winslet told Variety about their first time working together.

Paul Stanley's Daughter: Emily

In addition to giving fans a rare look at his face sans his famous Starchild look, the KISS frontman also shared a glimpse at one of his four children, 11-year-old Emily.

"Family vacation!" Stanley wrote alongside the selfie with his daughter posted to Twitter. "My beautiful Emily brightens the day even more!"

Stanley, who typically keeps his family life private, shares Emily with his wife, Erin Sutton, along with their daughter Sarah, 14, and son Colin, 16.

He is also father to Evan Stanley, 28, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Pamela Bowen.

Matt Damon's Daughters: Isabella, Stella & Gia

Matt Damon hardly steps out with any of his four girls, so it was a treat to see him in full #GirlDad mode at the March 2023 premiere of his latest movie, AIR.

The veteran actor pulled up with daughters Isabella, 16, Stella, 14 and Gia, 12, whom he shares with wife Luciana Barroso. Absent from the blockbuster event was Barroso's daughter from a previous relationship, 24-year-old Alexia.

Sienna Miller's Daughter: Marlowe

The 21 Bridges actress brought her 10-year-old daughter Marlowe, whom she shares with fellow actor Tom Sturridge, out for New York Fashion Week in February 2023. The mother-daughter duo sat front row for the Proenza Schouler show and mingled with some other famous faces — including Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's Son: Samuel

Samuel's parents, Affleck and Garner, tend to keep their children Violet, Seraphina Rose and Samuel away from the cameras ... unless, of course, there's a super special occasion, like getting killer courtside seats to see his dad's hometown team, the Boston Celtics. The youngest Affleck was spotted thoroughly enjoying himself at the Lakers' home arena with dad Ben on Dec. 13.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's Daughter: Violet

Violet, meanwhile, got her big moment in the spotlight when she got to wear a heart-print Carolina Herrera dress to accompany her superstar mom to the White House State dinner on Dec. 1. The mother-daughter date was extra special, given it was also Violet's 17th birthday.

But this doesn't necessarily mean we'll be seeing more of Violet. Garner has previously spoken out about keeping her out of the public eye, especially off social media, because there aren't enough "positive" outcomes for teenagers on those platforms.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's Children: James Wilkie, Tabitha & Marion

Sarah Jessica Parker makes sure to avoid posting her kids' faces on social media and outside of a premiere here and there, they pretty much stay out of the spotlight. Along with dad Matthew Broderick, her son James Wilkie, 20, and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, 13, were recently photographed while attending the opening night for Broadway's Some Like It Hot on Dec. 11.

Uma Thurman's Daughter: Luna Thurman-Busson

Another celebrity kid enjoying one of the (some like it) hottest tickets in town? Luna Thurman-Busson, 12, who joined mom for a fun night out (and captured the moment in a sweet post on Uma's Instagram).

In 2012, Uma Thurman welcomed daughter Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence (called Luna) with French financier Arpad Busson, whom she dated from 2007 to 2014.

Though Luna has not been raised in the public eye, she was the subject of a high profile custody battle when her parents separated back in 2014 and Busson sued Thurman for visitation. The case was settled in 2020 as Busson was granted monthly visitation with their daughter.

Brendan Fraser's Sons: Leland and Holden

At the New York premiere of The Whale at Alice Tully Hall on Nov. 29, 2022, star Brendan Fraser was joined by two very special guests: his sons!

Leland, 16, and Holden, 18 —whom the actor shares with ex-wife Afton Smith — stood by their dad at the event celebrating the critically acclaimed film.

Brendan and Smith also share an older son, Griffin, 20.

Robert Downey Jr.'s Children: Avri and Exton

To prepare for an upcoming project, Robert Downey Jr. knew the perfect kids for the job. Over Halloween weekend, the actor gave a rare glimpse at his two younger children, daughter Avri, 7, and son Exton, 10, as he documented the experience of having his kids shave his head for his upcoming project, The Sympathizer.

The video shows a cute exchange between Downey Jr. and his children as he interrupts their pumpkin carving to ask if they want to help shave his head.

After the job is done, the 7-year-old then transforms her dad's head into a pumpkin (painting it orange with black features) and even tops off the design with a stem.

Downey Jr. shares Avri and Exton with wife Susan Downey and is also father to Indio, whom he shares with ex-wife Deborah Falconer.

Hannah opened up about her private family life in November of last year, telling Editorialist magazine, "[Social media] has never felt natural to me. Jones rarely shares photos of her son and guards his privacy seriously; she has never revealed his father's name. "That's my son's business," she told The New York Times. "It's not the public's business."

Pharrell Williams & Helen Lasichanh's Son: Rocket

Williams shared a rare family photo with wife Helen and son Rocket Ayer while exploring Egypt in October.

"Lotus Enzymes," the Grammy Award winner wrote in the caption, referring to a popular ingredient in his skincare line Humanrace.

The couple welcomed Rocket in 2008 and got married in 2013.

Christina Aguilera's Daughter: Summer

The singer celebrated her daughter Summer Rain's 7th birthday in August 2021 with a sweet tribute on Instagram.

Aguilera, who shares her daughter with fiancé Matt Rutler, posted a cute photo of herself and Summer as her little girl sports an Xtina jersey.

Russell Crowe & Danielle Spencer's Sons: Charles & Tennyson

Australian star Danielle Spencer celebrated Mother's Day with a little help from her rarely-seen teen sons with ex Russell Crowe: Charles and Tennyson. The couple divorced in 2018, but both have been committed to raising their kids mostly out of the spotlight.

In 2016, Crowe reflected on the joys and challenges of being a divorced parent. "There is nothing cooler than being that close to your kids," he told Australia's Daily Telegraph. "One of my greatest fears is that over time they won't want to spend all of their school holidays there with me. Because that is the best part of my year, when I have them to myself."

The "Fancy" rapper shared photos from the party she threw for son Onyx as he turned 1 year old in May 2021, writing on Instagram, "Just got back the film from onyxs party. Love my baby."

In the pictures, Azalea smiled while holding her happy boy close as the mother-son pair posed in front of a wall of colorful balloons. The mom also watched gleefully as Onyx sat in a tub of toy balls as a box full of the items was dumped in for him to play in.

Meek Mill's Son: Czar

The rapper shares a birthday with his son, as he turned 34 and his child turned 1 in May 2021. "Happy bday czar love you tomar your first big day!!!! 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 can't wait to see you love you!!!" Mill wrote, sharing an adorable rare photo of his son on Instagram.

Announcing the birth of his first child with Milan Harris the May prior, Mill called the arrival of the little one the "best gift." He added, "Milano dropped me off a king on my birthday!"

In her own birthday tribute to their son, Harris shared how the first year with him changed her life completely. The mom posted a gallery of snapshots enjoying a boating day with her boy.

Lily Aldridge & Caleb Followill's Kids: Dixie & Winston

Though Lily Aldridge rarely shares photos of her children on social media, she made an exception for Tiffany & Co. in Dec. 2023, when she and her daughter Dixie posed together showing off the brand's Tiffany Lock bracelets. (Could Dixie be among the daughters following their moms into the modeling business?)

She gave another glimpse of them several years before celebrating the end of 2020, the former Victoria's Secret model — who shares daughter Dixie Pearl and son Winston Roy with her husband, Kings of Leon musician Followill — shared some of her favorite family photos of 2020 with her followers.

On Jan. 2, 2021, the rapper shared new photos of her then-3-month-old son, whom she shares with husband Kenneth Petty, giving fans their first look at his face.

"#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama 🎀🦄🙏 ," she captioned a loving tribute, which included photos of her newborn lounging in adorable outfits and designer onesies. In one sweet snap, her baby even wore a "Papa Bear" necklace, in a nod to her affectionate nickname for him.

Céline Dion has shared fewer photos of her sons René-Charles, Nelson and Eddy as they've grown, but they were by her side as she stepped out to a Montreal Canadiennes game and took a smiley shot together.

The boys' father is Dion's late husband, René Angélil.

John Travolta's Son: Ben

The Grease star shared a father-son snapshot on Nov. 23, 2020, to celebrate the 10th birthday of his youngest child, son Ben, whom he shares with late wife Kelly Preston, who died in July after a private two-year battle with breast cancer.

The Instagram photo sees John hugging his son as they both flash wide grins.

"Happy 10th birthday my wonderful Ben! I love you!" the actor wrote.

Travolta — also dad to daughter Ella Bleu and son Jett, who died at age 16 after suffering a seizure in 2009 — doesn't often share photos of his children but did post an adorable throwback of his two youngest last month.

Heidi Klum's Kids: Leni, Henry, Johan & Lou

Gang's all here! On Nov. 21, 2020, the supermodel shared a snap of her four children, as well as husband Tom Kaulitz, during a family outing to the Boros Collection in Berlin.

Klum shares daughters Leni and Lou, as well as sons Henry and Johan, with ex-husband Seal.

The four kids joined their mother in Germany after Klum filed an emergency motion in August claiming that Seal would not permit their children to travel to Europe with her for work due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

A week after the filing the couple settled on a custody agreement that would allow them to travel with their mother.

Kristin Cavallari's Daughter: Saylor

In honor of her little one's 5th birthday, the Very Cavallari star shared a slideshow of photos of the mother-daughter duo cuddling on Instagram.

"Happy 5th birthday to my little Say baby!" she wrote. "Saylor, my bestie, my mini me, there are no words for how much I love you sweet girl. Watching you blossom into the sweet, caring, kind, tough, strong willed little girl you are has been such a gift."

Finishing her note, Cavallari wrote, "I'm thankful for you every single day."

Cavallari shares Saylor and sons Camden and Jaxon with ex-husband Jay Cutler, whom she announced her split from in April 2020 after 10 years together.

The Bombshell star shared a photo of daughters August and Jackson in honor of National Daughter's Day on Sept. 25, 2020.

Cruise and Kidman are parents to Bella and her younger brother Connor. The pair divorced in 2001.

Jacqueline Laurita's Son: CJ

Laurita posted a carousel of pics of CJ in May 2020 on Instagram, including several never-before-seen ones from recent years.

Frankel usually keeps her daughter Bryn out of the spotlight, but on her 10th birthday, she celebrated with an Instagram post dedicated to her "Peanut."

Frankel wrote in a tribute to her only child, "Peanut, I love you so much. You have given me ten years of joy, inspiration, laughter and absolute love. You bring meaning to my life every day. You are such a sweet, loving and sunny person that shines light on everyone around you. You are loved. I wish for you health and happiness and that you continue to do what you love and what makes you happy every day and let your free spirit fly!"

Sandra Bullock's Daughter: Laila

Bullock likes to keep her private life private, but she made an exception when she and her daughter, Laila, appeared on Red Table Talk to surprise a nurse on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The star surprised April Buencamino, a nurse manager for the COVID-19 unit at California's Adventist Health (White Memorial) Hospital, where Bullock, her partner Bryan Randall, and her two children, Laila and Louis, donated thousands of KN95 masks to healthcare workers.

After inviting Laila to thank April, she proudly told the group of her daughter: "She's our world superhero. She's the one who'll save the world in our family, so she's ready. She's ready to join you out there April in a few years!"

Erika Girardi's Son: Tommy Zizzo

Can you see the family resemblance? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star gave fans a rare glimpse of her adult son Tommy Zizzo.

"People say we look alike," she captioned the shot of the young police officer.

"No, you can't comment," she added with a laughing emoji, referencing her decision to disable the comments section on the post.

While the reality star has often spoken about her son from her first marriage, Zizzo has never made an appearance on RHOBH, and likely won't anytime soon.

"Probably not," Girardi said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last year. "I don't think so, no. You know he has a private life; he's a police officer."

She shared, "Currently, @jensenkarp and I have chosen to keep Adler's face off our social media pages. We are two people who made a conscious choice to be in the public eye and share what would normally be private moments with the public. Adler isn't capable of making that choice for himself and until he is, we've decided to shield him from places where strangers can comment on him."

Fishel expressed that it was a difficult decision for the couple, because, "I wanna show you my baby every day. He's cuter than this 👼 but I worry about a couple things. 1. His safety. There are weirdos out there. Enough said. 2. Putting pictures and facts about him onto the internet that he doesn't have any say in. I'd like for him to be able to curate his own footprint on the internet in the future without being mortified we posted about his his fear of swimming or his first crush."
