A lot of money for zero quality. "We have no control over our trades". This is the standard quote from all of their staff. Shoddy workmanship, missing items, cutting corners and then the best part is, at the one year warranty review, DENY that there is a problem. We love Sun City Hilton Head but it is sad that Pulte is the only option. They are quick to take your money, faster to deliver your home, adamant about receiving a great review, absent when it comes to taking responsibility. I would urge everyone to not use Pulte. If you do, get an agent, your own inspector, your own closing attorney and document. Your experience will dictate that you need protection against their deceptive ways.

We were forced to settle earlier than initially informed, while our street is a virtual war zone! Our brand new stove in our upgraded kitchen in excess of $20,000 is defective and Pulte is claiming it’s a problem with Whirlpool and we are still waiting for word back after now going on 3 weeks and counting!! So many imperfections in the home due to rushed work… and that is just to name a few.

    We have had so many issues since we closed - work was done wrong - every Saturday they blow the trach and nails into your yard to clean the streets, 7 flat tires on our street alone - no way to contact Pulte Corporate - they make it impossible - most recent is we personally Thompson sealed our pavers - let it cure for 3.5 days - we have outside cameras and one of Pulte's contractors American Builders Supply - pulls into our driveway to turn around in their huge truck leaving tire marks - sent a note to Pulte - but as usual no response - make sure you have a good lawyer if you buy from them - you will need it - they build their homes fast and crappy using undocumented workers - this was told to us by our foreman so I am not just saying it.

    When I am writing this review so far 9 closings has happened in Amber Fields, 3 are **, rest are **. Mine was second closing in mid Dec-23. While driveway was done for six, all ** families are still waiting. Isn't it a super big coincidence? I was given the excuse that city has closed the trucking during winter. Wonder how the work was prioritized and completed for those who had closing months after us!

    After spending 8+ years in war my wife and I saved $10k to put down on a home when ready, and a job transfer was that moment. Found a new lot, chose the build and put down our $. 2 weeks later the job transfer changed to a different location, and we could not go through. They never even broke ground, but kept all $10k and said “sorry for your loss”….Mde no sense to keep it.. But company rules outweigh ethics. Their ETHICS. We were devastated, but also resilient. PULTE HOMES…Never again, and Corey….How do you smile knowing you took all we had? Disgusting.

    Upgraded carpet at purchase. Path worn after 1 year. Just relaxed to find the carpet and pad are the lowest quality. Talked to others in Carlson place.. same experience. Don’t let them put this carpet and pad in your home. It is now like walking on concrete. Pad is so bad.

    You work with a agent to pick the home. You pick upgrade packages. They give you the estimate, want 6000 dollars non-refundable cash to start process. Next you go to the design center, where they add 17000 in flooring cost and if you want to see the granite before installing. It is 500 more. Do yourself a favor, run from them.

    PULTE employees forced us to close a new house on the contrary we lost the down payment 20% of the total price. The house was built with poor quality materials, all neighbors in Weslyn Park Sunbridge have issues with PULTE in regard to the construction. All house are new, no more than 3 months, and the house is coming down step by step

    02-05-2024. Warning To Prospective Pulte Home Buyers!!! Do yourself a favor and hire a Professional Home Inspection Company to inspect, very carefully, your Pulte home during various stages of its construction. Especially important are plumbing installation, roofing construction, and your electrical installation, This Is A Must!!! We bought our home in Banning, Ca in 2000 at Sun Lakes Country Club. This development was started by Presley Homes, in the 1960’s I believe. We loved the community, not necessarily BANNING. Anyway, we lived in MI at the time so we could not inspect during the various stages of construction. What a mistake this has turned out to be for us. While we love our home and have not has SERIOUS Problems, one issue has cost us over $25,000 in the past two years.

    The roofing contractor Pulte selected installed an inferior product, skimping on both the quality of the underlayment product and its proper installation. Additionally, they installed the roofing tiles improperly by skipping a row of tiles. This was pointed out to us by the roofing contractor we hired in 2023 to replace our entire roof because of the leaking into our home and damage done to our ceilings. In contacting PULTE, they claimed that we had to notify them within their 10 year contractual requirement. I tried to hire an attorney group to start a Class Action Suite against PULTE. I could not find anyone who wanted to take on the suite.

    Please be sure to inspect your new home during all phases of construction. It will save you the aggravation and excess costs that we have had to pay because PULTE Hired an inferior roofing contractor. Banning’s Inspection Department simply “rubber stamped” the contractor’s poor installation product. There must not have been an inspector on site whatsoever. I could go on and on - but - instead I strongly suggest that you pay the money to hire your own home inspection agent. This will save you large dollars in the long run. Best wishes that you do better than us.

    Pulte Home builders use the cheapest building materials and labor available. After I moved into the house, I felt like I could have spent a lot less money if I'd bought a double wide trailer, and would have the same quality abode. These houses are sold for top dollar, are is a very poor quality built house. My advice - DON'T BUY A PULTE HOME!
