FIRE - A report at 3:51 p.m. Saturday of a fire at the Pine Ridge Trailer Park, 1400 Eighth St. Northeast. The caller reported a smell of plastic in the residence. The fire department arrived on the scene and took control of the incident. No persons were injured and no amount of damage known.

ARREST - A woman was arrested at 8:33 p.m. Friday for second-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI) after a report of a possible drunken driver stuck in a snow bank. Officer found a telephone pole was struck along with multiple snow banks in the area of the 100 block of Third Avenue Northeast.

THEFT - A report at 12:28 p.m. Thursday of a theft of an iPhone from Staples High School, 401 Centennial Dr.

Crosby police

ARREST - A 57-year-old man was arrested Sunday during a traffic stop on Third Avenue Northwest and Fourth Street for second-degree DWI, driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety and open bottle in motor vehicle.

A 34-year-old Deerwood man was arrested Sunday for an outstanding warrant. The man was on Crow Wing County’s Most Wanted list.

FIRE - Assisted the Crosby Fire Department Saturday with a gas leak at a residence on East Main Street.

THEFT - A report Thursday of a theft of items from a Crosby resident.

A report Jan. 7 of a possible theft of a garbage can on Superior Avenue. Officer checked and learned the can was accidentally removed by the garbage company and a short time later, was safely returned.

A report Jan. 6 of a theft or loss of a purse from a business on Main Street and Cross Avenue.

ANIMAL - A report Jan. 7 of a barking dog complaint at a residence in the Fourth Street Southwest area. Officer made contact with the owner of the dog who stated the dog barks at the pigeons when they sit in the power lines (probably afraid for their safety?). Officer advised the dog owner of the city ordinance violations involving disruption of peace and comfort in a neighborhood.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 1:10 p.m. Monday of a female student at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St., causing a disturbance with staff and refusing to leave.

Baxter police

ARREST - A 24-year-old male was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Monday for fourth-degree DWI on the 14000 block of Baxter Drive.

Crow Wing sheriff

THEFT - A report at 10:50 a.m. Monday of a theft of a tractor battery on the 21000 block of Crow Wing County Road 22.
