Kelly Ripa's daughter Lola had her prom dress neckline lowered 'behind our back'

Good thing Kelly Ripa is a pretty chill mom.

Ripa revealed on Jerry O'Connell's new show, "Jerry O Show," that her teenage daughter Lola caught her by surprise earlier this summer when she emerged in her emerald green prom gown: The custom dress curiously emphasized way more cleavage than Ripa remembered.

"That's the prom dress that we had made and she had altered behind our back," Ripa told O'Connell.

She joked, "So that's why the girls are fully on display. Everybody came down the stairs together. And I just mean Lola."

Dad Mark Consuelos was also on hand to send his daughter off to prom. The 18-year-old will start college at New York University in the fall.

O'Connell, who has two daughters himself, asked Ripa whether he should be worried about his 10-year-olds growing up to experience a high school like the one depicted in HBO's "Euphoria." The show, which stars Zendaya, shows teenagers engaging in hard drugs and activities like sex with strangers.

Ripa had the same concern. "I said to [Lola], is that what high school's like? Because she loves 'Euphoria,' she and her girlfriends all watch it together," she said. "She goes, 'Um, I don't really think so, not that much.'"

That response did not sit well with Ripa: "I was like, 'Is it anything like 'Euphoria'?!"
