GENESEE COUNTY, MI -- A Genesee District Court judge has scheduled a Sept. 22 preliminary examination for a Grand Blanc Township woman accused of making death threats made against two top officials at the Genesee County Health Department.

Helaina M. Burt, 42, appeared in a virtual probable cause conference on Thursday, Sept. 9, before Judge Jennifer Manley. She has pleaded not guilty to charges of making a false report or threat of terrorism, a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of malicious use of a telecommunications device.
