This Louisville tour company was named the 'Best of the Best' by Travelers' Choice

It has been a challenging year for the travel and hospitality industries, which made winning an overall 2020 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award for Attractions/Tours that much sweeter for Louisville-based Mint Julep Experiences.
Since 2008, the family-owned tour company with offices in Louisville and Nashville has offered handcrafted, premium adventures to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Tennessee Whiskey Trail, legendary horse farms, historic landmarks and various culinary destinations.
Even as the COVID-19 pandemic has dragged on, Lisa and Sean Higgins and the staff at Mint Julep Experience have continued to adjust their tours to provide customers with safe adventures through bourbon country and beyond.

"We aligned our safety and cleanliness protocols with the World Travel & Tourism Council and (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) directives very similarly to the airlines and have not faced a single issue," said Sean Higgins. "Our guests are mainly regional and represent small groups of friends, neighbors or families that just want to get out, have some fun together and experience a little of the great outdoors."
The Traveler's Choice award is based on a full year of TripAdvisor reviews, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic. TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel platform, and its Best of the Best Award is given to travelers’ favorites, the top 1% of hospitality businesses around the globe.

The TripAdvisor award isn't the first time the Louisville business has been recognized for its excellent service. In 2014, Condé Nast Traveler named Mint Julep Experience one of the “Best Guided Drinking Tours in America.” This year's Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award for Attractions/Tours represents the 11th straight year Mint Julep Experiences has earned this award, a rare achievement for any company.
