These stylish and comfortable men's shoes are at an amazing price for Prime Day

Whether you’re a sneakerhead, boot fanatic, or casual footwear peruser, you can probably agree on at least one thing: it’s hard to find a pair that’s a comfortable, fashionable, and affordable. Fortunately, we’ve found a few solutions—and, today, they happen to be on sale for Amazon Prime members.

New Republic shoes are a favorite of Reviewed’s General Manager, Chris Lloyd, who discovered them through men’s style subscription box Menlo House. He’s been a member of the service for about five years, and finds that he’s “always excited to get new shoes” when his boxes arrive. Since joining Menlo House, he’s accrued several pairs of New Republic shoes—a mix of Chelsea boots, oxfords, and sneakers—both in monthly boxes and through independent purchases.

“I’m always excited to get shoes in my delivery,” Chris says. “Of the four or five pairs I’ve received, all are great.”

They’re also a favorite of the Male Fashion Advice subreddit, where one user declared the look and feel of New Republic’s Kurt Leather sneaker to be “better than Stans” (as in Adidas Stan Smiths). The brand was created by menswear designer Mark McNairy in partnership with Menlo House in 2016, but they’re also available on Amazon. Their Prime Day sale should come as extra good news to those who might already be familiar with the brand, who know that New Republic shoes, with a price range of $30 to around $100, aren’t too expensive to begin with—especially when compared to McNairy’s other shoe brands, which can sell for upwards of $400 a pair. 

If you, like, Chris, don’t love the idea of forking over hundreds of dollars just to stay on trend, this sale provides a great opportunity to test out a new shoe style you aren’t totally sure about with relatively low stakes. It’s up to you if that means some just-released white sneakers, suede boots, or suave loafers. Either way, no matter if you’re a diehard New Republic fan or just finding out about the brand now, there should be a pair out there for you.
