Australian Lingerie Label Honey Birdette Raises Breast Cancer Awareness With Pink Stockings

Australian lingerie label Honey Birdette is raising $30,000 for a breast cancer charity as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Designed by women with an aim to empower women, Honey Birdette is turning up the heat this October by selling hot pink stockings and a pink marshmallow candle to help reach the target, with proceeds raised going towards funding Australian breast cancer charity: the McGrath Foundation’s Breast Care Nurses.

Eloise Monaghan, founder and creative director of Honey Birdette, was devastated to have lost someone close to her to breast cancer, and then found out one of her staff members was also diagnosed with the same illness when she was just 28. Monaghan speaks of how the Breast Cancer Awareness month means to her on her social media: “October is always an important time for me. It’s the time — more than ever — that I stop to remember the people close to me that I’ve lost to breast cancer, as well as those who’ve survived.”

She says: “These warrior women — and those like them — are the reason Honey Birdette donates $30,000 to the McGrath Foundation every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, we’ll be selling pink stockings and a pink marshmallow candle to help reach that goal.”

“It really made it hit home for me and my team how essential it is to check your breasts regularly.”

The new pink stockings in the most lust-worthy candy floss pink shade forms part of the brand’s newest Natalie set, which consists of a balconette bra with lightweight boning and iridescent foil-lace embroidery, delicate suspenders with keyhole designs, and a choice of Brazilian brief or cheeky thong. The stockings continues Honey Birdette’s signature design of stay-up band in pink and champagne tone sheer stocking, with pink glittery lurex back seam.

The limited edition Pink Marshmallow Candle, featuring a circus-inspired, ’70s pin-up style stripy design, is made of cosmetic grade soy & soft shea butter and transforms into massage oil with sweet almond scent.
