Forget the product. Customers say at this point, they just want their money back.

Upset customers tell On Your Side they bought custom furniture from a Springfield store and months later the pieces are still not in their homes.

"So now I've got an empty wall, CDs still cluttered and I'm out $600," said Janice Hatch.

Hatch bought an oak cabinet in January from Amish & More Furniture.

She says she was supposed to have it in her living room by April.

"Pretty frustrating because I actually thought they were probably pretty reputable," she said.

Janice did her homework.

"I've even at a loss to say on what I could have done different," she said.

Amish and More Furniture, located on South Campbell, does not have a single complaint posted on the Better Business Bureau website. It also does not have a rating.

"Like everyone else we work hard for our money and it's not fair for someone to just take it," she said.

She says she hasn't talked to the owner in months.

"We've called. We've gone to the store, several times, different times of day. Different days of the week. It's during his posted hours, but there's never a response," said Hatch.

On Your Side checked it out. Lights were out. Doors were locked. No one came to the door.

"If he had an emergency or a crisis then call. Or have someone call. Or somebody should be there taking care of the business. There should be a sign up. Something," she said.

Since we visited on Monday, On Your Side called several times and left voicemails. We haven't heard anything back.

Property managers say the furniture we see through the window is the tenant's responsibility or the tenant's lender. Property managers say despite no sign, the business is closed.

If you're an upset customer with an order, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General.
