ATLANTA - More trouble for Angel Food Ministries, the north Georgia based group that sells food at a reduced rate through a network of churches.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a former employee has filed a federal lawsuit against Andy Wingo, the son of Angel Food founder Joe Wingo.
Tioni King claims she was a victim of sexual harassment before she was fired from Angel Food in 2007.
The home office of Angel Food Ministries was the object of an FBI search last month.
Recent tax records showed the ministry paid out 70-percent of expenditures, but they also indicated that four members of the Wingo family split more than $2 million in salaries in 2006.
According to its Web site, Angel Food Ministries has 25 host sites within a 20-mile radius of Gainesville... including six in Gainesville, itself.
