UPDATE: Delray woman, 80, reported missing found safe in Fort Lauderdale
Barbara Lederberg failed to show up at a relative's home in Boca Raton. Anyone who know of her whereabouts is asked to call Delray Beach police at 561-243-7800.
An 80-year-old Delray Beach woman was reported missing Wednesday was found safe in Fort Lauderdale Thursday, according to city police.
Barbara Lederberg was last seen leaving her home home at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, police said. She was driving a teal 2004 Ford Thunderbird with Florida tag GTG S36. Delray Beach police said she was found by a police officer in Fort Lauderdale and has been returned to family.
Lederberg was supposed to go a relative's home in Boca Raton but did not show up, police said.

Her family told investigators that she has early symptoms of dementia. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored blouse.
