State officials didn't hold a public briefing Sunday, but Murphy did tell ABC's "This Week" that New Jersey needs ventilators more than anything.

"That’s our No. 1 ask. It’s our No. 1 need," Murphy said. "And that’s the one that we are focused most on right now. We have a long way to go on the whole PPE [personal protective equipment] front, but we’ve made more progress in other areas than we have right now on ventilators."

Around 1,200 police officers around the state have quarantined because of the virus. According to the state police, 163 officers around the state have tested positive for the new coronavirus as of Sunday. Read more: Police Clarify Number Of NJ Cops With Coronavirus

The Office of Attorney General also detailed several reports in which people didn't follow orders to stay at home.
