It’s known for its diverse range of ‘adult’ videos, and now Pornhub has launched one if its strangest channels yet.
The new channel, called ‘Beesexual’, is dedicated to bee porn.
Yes, you read that right. Bees.
The bizarre channel is part of a new campaign to save dwindling bee populations, which Pornhub is working on alongside Operation Honey Bee and The Centre for Honeybee Research.
On the channel, users can search through short videos of foraging bees, featuring voiceovers by well-known pornstars.
Corey Price, VP of Pornhub, said: “With over 110 million daily visitors, we thought our users could come together to lend a helping hand and help conserve this precious species. It’s our duty to ensure bees continue to fornicate and pollinate.”
The campaign follows a steady decline in global bee populations, despite the fact that the animals are crucial pollinators.
According to Greenpeace, the main reasons for global bees-decline are industrial agriculture, parasites/pathogens and climate change.
John Baxter, Founder of Operation Honey Bee, said: “We understand something of this magnitude doesn’t come often, and we realise how important it is for everyone involved.
“We will do our part to the best of our ability to work together with many institutions to make this as big and as great as we all think it will be.”
