Drew and Ellie Holcomb have announced their biggest The You and Me Tour: An Evening with Drew and Ellie Holcomb to date, with a stop in Chattanooga at Walker Theatre Feb. 17. The upcoming trek kicks off the first week of February and runs through the end of March and has the Holcombs playing major cities across the U.S. including Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and Austin.
News of the nearly 25-date run comes on the heels of their recently announced Neighborly Christmas Shows that have the couple playing to live audiences in Nashville, Memphis and Durham, N.C. in December.
Review for Drew and Ellie Holcomb:
It’s been two years since the Holcomb’s last You and Me tour following the release of January 2019’s Electricity EP. A lot has happened since then – Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors released their critically acclaimed Dragons LP in August 2019, the pandemic forced the world into lockdown and Drew and Ellie entertained from their kitchen with their wildly popular Kitchen Covers, the couple took their three kids on an epic 500+ mile road trip for last fall’s TN Tourism campaign – “For the Love of Tennessee, Travel Safe,” Ellie Holcomb released her critically acclaimed new studio album Canyon in June 2021 and the Holcombs entertained thousands of fans at this year’s sold out Moon River Music Festival in Chattanooga in September.
The tour is named after the Holcomb’s first single as a duo, 2018’s “You and Me” and while both artists have claimed considerable success in their own right and continue to do so, they’ve also continued to collaborate with each other. In addition to 2019’s Electricity EP, in 2021 they released “Feels Like Home” and “Hey Rivers” – written during last fall’s Tennessee excursion.
