PennDOT Driver's License Offices Close In Bucks Co.

HARRISBURG, PA — The driver's license and photo license centers in Bucks County will be closed for two weeks, PennDOT announced this weekend.

Locally, that includes:

  • Bensalem Driver/Photo License Center, 4201 Neshaminy Blvd., Bensalem
  • Langhorne Photo License Center, AAA Mid-Atlantic, 516 N. Oxford Valley Road, Langhorne

The closures are in response to Gov. Tom Wolf's guidance in an effort to mitigate the spread of the new coronavirus, PennDOT officials said.

PennDOT has closed locations in Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties.

Also, the expiration dates for driver's licenses, identification cards, vehicle registrations and safety and emission inspections will be extended for residents of Bucks and Chester counties, PennDOT announced.

  • For driver's licenses and photo ID cards for Bucks County residents that have an expiration date scheduled to expire on or before March 31, the expiration date is now extended until April 30.
  • For vehicle registrations, safety inspections and emissions inspections for residents of Bucks County scheduled to expire from March 15-March 31, the expiration date is now extended until April 30.

Additionally, PennDOT is suspending the issuance of REAL ID driver's licenses and photo ID cards in Bucks County until no sooner than March 28.

All PennDOT rest areas and welcome centers in Bucks County will be closed to the public starting Sunday.
