Ashland native Stille opts in for extra season with Huskers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — It’s been one heck of a week for the Husker defense.

Senior defensive lineman Ben Stille announced he will return to Nebraska for an extra season. The Ashland native joins Deontai Williams, Marquel Dismuke, Will Honas and JoJo Domann as the other Husker seniors to take advantage of the NCAA’s extra year of eligibility.

Stille anchored a young Nebraska defensive line in 2020. He started all eight games at defensive end, finishing with 27 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
