Failure to reinstate license, missing person (located): Lander Road
When police stopped a Cleveland man, 18, driving on a suspended license late on Sept. 10 near the Beechmont Country Club, a friend was dropped off to pick up his Honda Accord.
Upon checking her Social Security number, police found that she was listed as a missing person out of Cleveland Heights.
She was accounted for and removed as missing, but also showed a suspended license. The two called for an Uber ride and made arrangements to retrieve the car in the morning.
Damage to property: Creekside Road
A resident reported Sept. 14 that within the past week, the outer panes of their rear sliding door had been shattered. They surmised that the damage could have been caused by a weed whacker, since the sliding door is in front of a gravel patio.
Lost property: Lander Road
A Pepper Creek Drive resident reported on the night of Sept. 13 that his front license plate was missing from his vehicle. He believes it came off during the severe storm when he went through some high-water areas. He was advised to contact the BMV.
Damage to property: South Woodland Road
A resident reported on the afternoon of Sept. 11 that a truck pulling a trailer had a tire fall off, damaging their mailbox.
Animal bites: Plymouth Road
Officers responded to a report of a dog bite just before 6 p.m. Sept. 10, with the victim being a Cleveland man, 43.
Suspicion: Leeds Road
A resident, 27, reported Sept. 7 that the previous owner of her home was going through her mailbox.
