Viewers took to Twitter to question the usually chic character's dressed-down ensemble, with one fan even claiming that she's plotting to go on the run.

During the scene, Toyah (played by Georgia Taylor) was trying to support her colleague Ali Neeson (James Burrows), who facing the prospect of being sacked from his job as a doctor.

Instead of her usual dress or blouse, Toyah sported a comfy grey hoodie and darker bottoms, and hid her chestnut tresses under a khaki green baseball cap.
Toyah attempted to console Ali in the scenes, as he also shared his hopes of reconciling with Maria Connor.
Viewers admitted they were distracted throughout the whole scene, as they were quick to question Toyah's unusual outfit choice.

Toyah first appeared on Coronation Street from 1997 to 2003, and actress Georgia returned to the cobbles in 2016 to reprise her role.
