Man injured in Whiskey Dix bar shooting in Murfreesboro

A man was injured in a Sunday morning bar shooting in Murfreesboro. 

Just after midnight, a preliminary investigation found that an altercation occurred at Whiskey Dix on Main Street, the Murfreesboro Police Department said in a Facebook post. 

One man was shot inside the bar and is being treated at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, police said. It is not clear if he was the intended target since the bar was full of customers, police said. 

Detectives from the criminal investigations division are investigating.
