Resourceful robot can wheel up trees to cut down coconuts

Researchers at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University have built a robot that can climb trees and cut down coconuts. The robot, known as Amaran, was created in response to a growing shortage in coconut harvesters in India.
