Shirley M. Krenz

Beloit, WI -- Shirley M. Krenz, 90, of Beloit, WI, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Autumn Lake Healthcare. She was born January 3, 1930 in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of Lester and Alice (Ludtke) Hart. Shirley was a 1948 graduate of Beloit High School. She married Gordon H. Carlson on June 25, 1949. Shirley later married Harold Krenz on February 21, 1970. He predeceased her on February 23, 2009. Shirley was formerly employed by Belvidere High School as a custodian where she was very well liked by the staff and students. She then was employed by Aramark Food Service as a supervising cook at McNeel Middle School and Beloit Schools as a cook. She loved going to the Wisconsin Band Concerts, watching Wisconsin Badger football and basketball and was a season ticket holder. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, camping, bird watching, traveling, going on Alaskan cruises, reading books, cooking, Tilley's pizza and keeping track of her family on Facebook.
