Brazen Canoga Park Robbery Caught On Camera

A gunman charged a woman on her front door step in Canoga Park Monday, snatching her purse and threatening her life.

CANOGA PARK, CA — A brazen armed robbery was caught on camera in Canoga Park Monday, and now police hope the footage will help capture the gunman.

The robbery occurred about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 7700 block of Woodall Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A 27-year-old woman had just come home from work when a gunman charged at her on the front doorstep, snatching her purse and warning her it wasn't worth her life, ABC7 reported. The robbery was caught on a doorbell camera.

The male suspect, his face and head covered by a hoodie, fled the scene along with at least one other male suspect, police said.

The woman was not hurt.
