106 new COVID-19 cases, two additional deaths in New Mexico

New Mexico state health officials reported 106 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths across the state Monday.

The new cases announced Monday are:

  • 27 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 9 new cases in Chaves County
  • 1 new case in Cibola County
  • 3 new cases in Curry County
  • 18 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 5 new cases in Eddy County
  • 7 new cases in Lea County
  • 7 new cases in Luna County
  • 1 new case in McKinley County
  • 1 new case in Otero County
  • 2 new cases in Rio Arriba County
  • 1 new case in Roosevelt County
  • 4 new cases in San Juan County
  • 3 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 15 new cases in Santa Fe County
  • 2 new cases in Taos County

The New Mexico Department of Health has now confirmed a total of 27,683 cases of COVID-19 in the state, 15,518 of which have recovered, and 851 people have died from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

As of Monday, 71 people are hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, state health officials said.
