Jim Edmonds' rep slams Meghan King for 'pathetic and immature' lip-sync video supposedly targeted at her ex

A rep for Jim Edmonds has issued a scathing response after his estranged wife posted a video which appeared to be aimed at him.

In a TikTok clip posted over the weekend, Meghan King Edmonds lip-syncs to a person talking about their feelings for their ex dying.

She mouths the words: 'Got a text from my ex the other day, he said he missed me. I said, 'I'm sorry I can't talk right now, I'm at a funeral.' He said, 'Oh, my god. Who died?' I said, 'My feelings for you did. Bye, f****r.'"

In response, Jim's rep Steve Honig, told Bravo's Daily Dish: 'During the past few weeks we have seen celebrities use social media to bring people together and support one another.

'Apparently, Meghan has taken a different path and instead decided spew hatred and anger. She thinks it's funny; I think it’s pathetic and immature.'

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star added a creepy filter at the end which made her face look demonic.

But despite the sinister nature of the video, Meghan insisted it was a joke.

'I kid I kiddd [sic] but the ending is my favorite,' she captioned the clip.

This all came about as Jim recovers from his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Edmonds, 49, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share his test results, after several days of waiting for them.

'I did test positive for pneumonia, and I did get a test back positive for the virus. I am completely symptom-free now and doing really well, and so I must have had it for a while before I got tested,' he said.

The former baseball player said his daughter has been tested and is now awaiting results, but she is symptom-free as well.

Edmonds also urged other people feeling unwell to seek health care.

'In all fairness, doing really good, and I'm happy to be symptom-free, and feeling great. So, all of you people thank you so much once again, and hope all you are doing well. Do not take this lightly - if you don't feel good, go to the doctor or go to the emergency room if you can't breathe, because that's what happened to me, they didn't want to test me, and I forced them to take me into the emergency room.

'And lo and behold, pneumonia, and the virus. So don't take it lightly, take care of yourselves. There's no medicine, there's no nothing but rest, and that's all I've been doing.'

Edmonds initially revealed over the weekend he had been tested for COVID-19 and shared a photo from the hospital.

The 49-year-old revealed he 'thought he was tough enough' to get through the virus by himself at home, but evidently was not.

'Held off as long as I could. I thought I was tough enough to get through,' he shared on Instagram.

'This virus is no joke #gethealthy.'

With Jim out of action, Meghan currently has custody of their three children, Aspen, three, and twins, Hart and Hayes, one.

The pair split in 2019 and Jim filed for divorce from the RHOC alum in October after she accused him of behaving inappropriately with their children’s nanny. Jim and the nanny denied the allegations.

Meghan recently took to her blog to share how she was dealing with her split, revealing some days she was only hanging on by a thread.

'Trauma affects all of us at some point in time but for others, it all seems to bear down at once,' she wrote in the blog post, adding that she's 'learned to cope with' what she calls 'Emotional Releases.'

She went into detail about the 'moments of loss, panic, and utter despair' she experiences - not just due to her divorce from the retired baseball player, but also raising their kids and coping with a nagging injury to her neck.

'Let me tell you something, some days I’m barely hanging on by a thread,' she wrote. 'Some moments I can’t breathe. Sometimes I get in bed and the bed is vibrating, but it’s not: I’m just shaking.'

She added of her split with Jim: 'You guys, many, many days I cannot possibly bear the thought of knowing I will have to be separated from my children due to divorce.'

Meghan and Jim tied the knot in her native St. Louis on October 24, 2014; he filed for divorce on October 25, 2019, the day after their fifth anniversary.

The couple's split drama resurfaced last month, after it was revealed Jim had accused Meghan of taking their children from Missouri to California without his permission, according to Us Weekly.

However, Meghan's rep told the outlet she did have legal approval to take their children to California from Missouri on 'a preapproved trip, signed off on by the guardian ad litem.'
