Dining events: Virtual pop-up Chef Bill Kim's Pizza & Parm Shop debuts in Oak Brook

Pizza & Parm Shop opens

Chef Bill Kim has done it again. Just a month after opening ghost kitchen Chef Bill Kim's Ramen Bar at Table at Crate in Oak Brook, Kim is opening the virtual restaurant Chef Bill Kim's Pizza & Parm Shop on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Also located in Oak Brook, this new pop-up offers Detroit-style pizza, which Kim says is “a happy medium between Chicago deep-dish and thin crust styles.” Options include cheese ($14), sausage or pepperoni ($16) or build-your-own (starts at $14). Also on the menu are a chicken parmesan entree ($18), chicken parm sandwich ($12) and salads, including chopped Caesar ($10), chopped BLT ($12) and chopped giardiniera ($12). Order from cbkpizzaparm.com/ for takeout exclusively through DoorDash. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
