Highland Park, IL (Sept. 16, 2020) - Privately-owned Trek Bicycle Store of Highland Park (Trek HP), with the #1 Trek Project One sales in the Midwest, announced through an affiliate, the acquisition of Zion Cyclery another long time Trek dealer. Since 1964, Zion Cyclery has been offering top brands in road, mountain, hybrid, fat-bikes and BMX bicycles, including an extensive array of parts and accessories. The Daisy family took over the Zion business in 1981 and built a reputation for outstanding customer service.

"By acquiring Zion Cyclery, it enables us the opportunity to provide cyclists from Chicago, IL to Kenosha, WI with Trek Bicycles, the largest US bike brand, as well as other top cycling manufacturers," stated KC Speich, Operating Partner of Trek HP.

"Our vision for Zion is to build on the great reputation for products and services provided under the Daisy family, by adding additional brand offerings and streamlining others," Speich continued.

Trek HP is known for its superior knowledge and service to both road cyclists and triathletes, in addition to children and family bike riders, which compliments Zion's family focus and off-road expertise. In addition, Trek HP will look to expand their Retul bike fitting to Zion to provide an even more robust offering to customers.

Also, their customers can rest assured, the outstanding Zion sales and service team they have come to know and count on will remain working at the shop other than the former owners who are retiring.
